WALTON - Merle Riggs Robinson, age 78 of Walton formerly of Florence passed away Monday, June 28, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence. She was a sales clerk at the cosmetic counter of Walgreens (Mall Road location) for over 30 years and attended Walton Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mona (Parker) Riggs, brother Kenneth Riggs and Great-Granddaughter Reagan Ferguson. Survivors include her husband Claude Robinson of Walton; daughter Denise Lawrence of Walton; son Jarrod Robinson of London, KY; 2 granddaughters Lauren Ferguson and Lindsey Lawrence and 5 great-grandchildren Payge Sexton, Landen Lawrence, Brayden Arnold, Trey and Ali Ferguson.
Memorial Service will be 3 PM Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Walton United Methodist Church; 68 South Main Street, Walton, KY 41097. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Cemetery in East Bernstadt, KY.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials are strongly encouraged to Cincinnati Children's Medical Center RICNIC Unit, 3333 Burnett Ave., Mail Location 1013; 4th Floor B Tower Cincinnati, OH 45229.
