Obituary of David Carter

David Lee Carter, age 53, of Demossville, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at his residence. He was a Sorter for United Parcel Service Company and a United States Air Force Veteran. Mr. Carter was a member of the St. Matthews/St. Mary's Parish in Morning View and enjoyed the outdoors. His brother, Donald L. Carter preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Nancy G. Vedder Carter of Demossville; (2) sons, Tim L. Carter of Batavia, OH and Jason N. Yauch of Erlanger; sister Sally Spence of Union; brother, Russell Samuel Foster of Tacoma, WA; and (2) grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 13 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Chambers and Grubbs in Independence. Christian burial rights will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Demossville. Memorials can be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.
