Obituary of Gilbert Almas

Gilbert Anthony Almas, 76 of Latonia, formerly of Tiverton, R.I. passed away at his residence Sunday, July 11, 2010. He was a former Police Officer for Cities of Elsmere and Erlanger, a retired carpet salesman, a Marine Corps Korean War Veteran whose hobbies included Racing Pigeons and Quail hunting. He was also a Kentucky Colonel. Preceded in death by his wife Louise Smith Almas in 1976 and wife Lulie Vern Bass Almas in 2009. Survived by daughters Darlene Louise Carnes and Sandra Marie Almas both of Latonia, niece Delphina Souza of Wisconsin, nephew Stephen Almas of Virginia and many grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial to be held Saturday 7/17/10 at 9 am at Holy Cross, Latonia.
