Chance Lee Courtney, age 26 of Independence passed away Sunday morning 7/4/10. He was a stonemason who liked sports, music and the outdoors. Preceded in death by his father Timothy Wayne Courtney, Sr. in 2004. Survived by mother Tonya Jones Courtney of Independence, sons Noah and Lucas Courtney, both of Newport, sister Crystal Courtney, Ft. Thomas, brothers Tim Courtney, Jr., Frankfort, Ky. and Jonathan Jones of Independence, grandmother Martha Courtney, Latonia and great-grandmother Elizabeth Hering of Walton.
Services will be at St. Patricks Cemetery, Verona. Visitation will be Thursday 2-3 pm. Funeral service will be at 3 pm. Burial will be in St. Patricks Cemetery.
Memorial donations requested to the family.
