Obituary of Celine Luebbe

Celine Marie Lindeman Luebbe, age 78, of Walton, died Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. She was the former owner of Oakcreek Campground (also known as Safari Campground) in Walton and a member of All Saints Parish in Walton. Mrs. Luebbe (she preferred Mrs.) enjoyed traveling, playing cards, bingo and art and was a member of the All Saints choir, the Ludlow Senior Citizens Club, and the Grandmothers' Club. Her husband, Ed Luebbe preceded her in death in 1992.
Survivors include (3) daughters, Sharon McDonald of Walton, Shauna Fruggiero of Jensen Beach, FL and Lori Power of Jensen Beach, FL; (3) sons, Ed Luebbe of Ft. Mitchell, Larry Luebbe of Florence, and Tom Luebbe of Walton; (8) grandchildren; and (14) great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, 62 Needmore St., Walton, KY 41094. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Verona. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton will be handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude's Childrens' Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. A reception will be held immediately after the interment at the Walton Fire Department, 12600 Towne Center Dr., Walton, Kentucky 41094
