Obituary of Charles Cooper

Charles R. Cooper, age 82, of Crittenden, died Monday, August 9, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Florence. He was the former owner and mechanic for Seminole 76 in Orlando, FL, a member of God's House Church in Dry Ridge, and the former chairman of the deacons at Grace Baptist Church in Crittenden. Mr. Cooper was also a member of the Bradford Masonic Lodge & a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his brothers, Robert Wayne Cooper of Morning View, Curtis O. Cooper of Independence, and David Cooper of Florence; and sisters, Jacqueline Howard of Louisville and Marilyn Vaughn of Colliersville, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, August 12 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral service will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery. Memorials can be made to God's House Church, 28 Broadway, Dry Ridge, KY 41035
