Mack Chain Obituary
Mack Chain, 67, of Florence, died Saturday at Florence Park Care Center. He was a musician and a member of First Baptist Church, Independence.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Capek Chain; sons, David Chain and John Ward, both of Hillsboro, Ohio; daughters, Mary Snyder of Hillsboro and Misty Morgan-Young of Ripley, Ohio; stepchildren, Robin Whalen of Florence, Amy Oppelt of Aurora, Ind., Jennifer Hemmer of Villa Hills and Joe Deaton of Latonia Lakes; his father, Jesse Chain of Wilmore; a sister, Maxine Graybill of Plant City, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church Missions Fund, 11659 Madison Pike, Independence, Ky. 41051. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling arrangements.
