Obituary of Ethel Rom

Ethel W. Rom of Brooksville, formerly of Latonia, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Rom enjoyed playing bingo and was a former cashier with Kroger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Rom in 1995.
Mrs. Rom is survived by 2 daughters, Krista Phillips of Milford, OH and Cheryl Rom of Brooksville; 4 sons, David Trutschel of Burlington, Robert Rom of Delhi, OH, Michael Rom of Covington, and Dan Rom of Brooksville; 2 sisters, Emily Phinney of Latonia and Gayle Reed of Little Rock, AR; a brother, Bob Elliot of Kiln, MS; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchidren.
A visitation for Mrs. Rom will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 from 11am - 1pm at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence with the funeral service following at 1pm. Mrs. Rom will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.
