Obituary of Jean Piper

Jean Sanders Piper, age, 83 of Taylor Mill, died Monday, September 6, 2010 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood. She was the retired Senior Office Manager for Life of Virginia Insurance Company. Ms. Piper was a member of the Women of the Moose, a former sales agent for Avon, and enjoyed her swimming pool, the Reds, Bengals, & U.K. Her husband, Robert Piper, preceded her in death in 1995. Survivors include 3 daughters, Brenda Meyer of Edgewood; Beverly Stewart of Independence; and Tina Knapp of Sparta; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. Interment will be private as requested by the family at Floral Hills Cemetery in Taylor Mill.
Memorials can be made to St Elizabeth Medical Center Women's Wellness Breast Center or charity of choice.
