William E. Durr will be remembered for generations because of the naming of the Kenton County library branch; however I will remember him because of his dedication to Godly principals and his family and community. Our prayers are with the family. God allows each of us to walk His good earth, some leave deep footprints to enrich the lives of others, Bill Durr was such a man. He and his wife Virginia and family have been faithful servants of the Lord… God Bless them in the celebration of his life on this earth and until the time they too will be called to Heaven. I have heard the Durr family name my whole life but I really got to know Bill personally while working at the Kenton County Fair and on the Board. He also worked with both my children when they worked with him on fairground maintenance for several years. I used to drop my son Kris off at his house and he would take him to the fairgrounds to work. He was a man of many talents and he will definitely be missed.

We thought a lot of Bill. He was a good man who was always willing to do for others. His contributions to the fair will be remembered for all times. His presence will be missed by everyone. He lived a life of which he and his family can be very proud. The family is in our prayers today.
