James Robert Lay, 48, of Independence, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Visitation will be Friday, October 22, 2010 from 10am - 12pm with a service at noon at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Garden. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
