Obituary of Ruth Conner

Helen Ruth Bratcher Conner, age 83, of Walton, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at her residence. She was a homemaker, a former waitress, and a member of Florence Church of Christ. Mrs. Conner enjoyed woodworking and making dolls, clothing, candy, and quilts. Her grandson, David Conner and brother Sillus Batcher, Jr. preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Conner of Walton; sons, Dennis Conner of Pendleton County and Steven Conner of Walton; sister, Hazel Riddle of Alexandria, VA; (4) grandchildren; and (11) great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs in Florence. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to Hospice of the Bluegrass, Development Office, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504.
