Obituary of Shirley Beagle

Shirley Mae Strause Beagle, age 76, of Taylor Mill, died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Beagle was a retired waitress for the Green Lantern Restaurant, a member of the Piner Christian Church, and of the Taylor Mill Moose Lodge. Her hobbies included fishing, boating, cooking for her family, and playing euchre with friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Beagle, Jr., sister, Lillian Justice, and brother, Wilbur Strause. Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Carolan of Independence and Linda Whitehead of Brooksville, KY; sons, Alan W. Beagle of Latonia and Jeffrey L. Beagle of Independence; (8) grandchildren and (5) great grandchildren. Her visitation will be Friday, October 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m., also at the funeral home Mrs. Beagle will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
