Obituary of Evangelos Kontos

Evangelos Kontos, 93, Dry Ridge, died November 11, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Grant County. Mr. Kontos, a veteran of the Greek Army in WWII, was a former baker for Dolly Madison/Butternut Bread in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a 32nd Degree Mason, who enjoyed cooking and watching movies. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Kontos and a granddaughter, Katie Kontos. Mr. Kontos is survived by his son William Kontos of Dry Ridge, KY; four sisters; two brothers; and 3 grandchildren. Services for Mr. Kontos have already been held and he was laid to rest at Union Rice Cemetery in Union, Ky. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Florence handled the arrangements.
