Obituary of Harry Callen

Harry A. Callen, age 82, of Morning View, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010, in Winchester, TN. He was a retired Superintendent for the Kenton County Road Department and a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Callen was a member of Piner Baptist Church, a KY Colonel, and enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Wilma Rust Callen of Morning View; daughter, Judy Van Buskirk and son-in-law, David Van Buskirk of Winchester, TN; sister, Gay Nell Rust of Morning View; brother, Robert Callen of Morning View; grandsons, Michael Edward Kasaba and Richard Harristan Van Buskirk; and (5) great grandchildren. He also had an extended family of (2) granddaughters, Angie Parrish and Joanna Williams; and (6) great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, November 19, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs in Independence. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn St #1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203-1742.
