Obituary of Joanne Skidmore

Joanne McClure Skidmore, age 81 of Erlanger, passed away Monday, January 3, 2011 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare. A homemaker who was family orientated. Her grandchildren were her life. A member of Erlanger Baptist Church, Joanne enjoyed flowers and painting ceramics. She is preceded in death by husband Chester N. Skidmore in 1984. She is survived by daughters Dianna Hennemann of Erlanger and Rebecca Holbrook of Burlington, sons Joe Skidmore in Independence and Dennis Skidmore in Erlanger. She has 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Chambers and Grubbs Florence. Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 noon. Funeral service will begin at noon. Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass or Hospice of St. Elizabeth
