Obituary of Ruby Worthington

Ruby Eleanor Callen Worthington, age 91, of Piner died Sunday, January 30th, 2011 Rosedale Manor Nursing Home in Covington. She was a retired Secretary for Kenton County Schools where she had worked for over 30 years. Mrs. Worthington enjoyed singing, doing crossword puzzles, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Her husband Woodrow Wilson Worthington preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter Brenda Oliver (Carlos) of Piner, KY; son, David Worthington of Crittenden; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs in Independence. Funeral services will be Friday, February 4, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Violet Ridge Church of Christ, 1000 Violet Road, Crittenden, KY 41030-8527.
Memorials can be made to the church.
