Obituary of Troy Rose

Troy "Junior" Rose, age 65, of Union, died Thursday, February 3, 2011, at his residence. He was a Machinist for D.C. Morrison (for 33 years) in Covington and a member of Community Family Church. Mr. Rose enjoyed working on lawn mowers and all types of machinery, fishing, bowling, golfing, and playing cards at his nephew's home in Union. His wife, Janice Ann Rose, brother, Larry Rose, and son-in-law, Dennis Keen preceded him in death. Survivors include his daughters, Tonya Armstrong and Vicky Harden of Union; brothers, Shirley Rose, Raymond Rose, Nolan Rose all of Jackson County, and Garnett Rose of Union; sisters, Roberta Bays of Burlington, Lou Jean Rose, and Novella Toyler, both of Jackson County; and five grandchildren, Austin, Cody, Diamond, Charley, and Gracie Ann. Visitation will be Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs in Florence. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Beaver Lick Baptist Church, 11460 US Highway 42, Union, KY 41091-9483. Interment will be at Hughes Chapel Cemetery in Union. Memorials can be made to the Rose Family, c/o Chambers & Grubbs, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.
