Catherine Kees, age 90 of Independence, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 at her residence. She was a homemaker and was a member of Independence Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Kees in 1992. Survived by daughter Judy Wainscott of Independence, son Daniel Webster of Independence, granddaughters Lesley Wainscott of Independence, Tonya Robbins of Indianapolis, In. and Angela Gillespie of Falmouth, Great-grandchildren Reece Vaughan Robbins and Emma Mae Gillespie.
Services will be at Chambers & Grubbs Independence Thursday, February 17, 2011. Visitation will be from 10 am. till Noon. Funeral service will be at Noon. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
