Obituary of Loretta Turner

Loretta Herald Turner, 73, of Independence passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Turner, a former machine operator at the Premiere Company of Covington, was a member of the Taylor Mill Church of Christ, a former union president and enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her daughter Peggy Turner and her husband, William Turner in 2003. Loretta is survived by her daughters Sandra Turner of Independence and Pamela (Robert) Harbaugh of Independence; son, William Turner Jr. of Independence; sisters Marie Long of Elsmere, Pat Vargas of Burlington, and Charlotte Hedger of Villa Hills; a brother, Ricky Herald of Latonia; 8 grandchildren and 2 great - grandsons. A visitation for Mrs. Turner will be Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm with the funeral service beginning at 12:30pm at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. She will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Garden in Taylor Mill. Memorial Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to The Family of Loretta Turner, c/o Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.
