Obituary of Rose Anna Horn

Rose Anna Bickers Horn, 87 of Walton, passed away Wednesday, March, 23, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence. She was born above Duncan's Drug Store on Decoursey Avenue in Latonia, Kentucky. She was one of the oldest Citizens of Walton. She was a former employee of Benton and Bonar Department Store, a member of Walton Christian Church and a member of the Daughter's of the American Revolution. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Mrs. Horn was a former Nursery attendant at the First Baptist Church in Walton for 16 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clay Horn. She is survived by her daughter Judy Denney, brother Carl Bickers, granddaughter Anna Maria Denney, grandsons Robert Denney and Lenny McIntosh and son-in-law Wayne Denney. She was a generous person who was an avid bird watcher and loved astronomy. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton. The service will be on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Rose Anna will be laid to rest at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
