Obituary of Denver Gabbard

Denver J. Gabbard, 89, of Edgewood, formerly of Fort Mitchell passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Emeritus Retirement Home. He was a cake mixer for Sara Lee, a member for over 25 years of Immanuel United Methodist Church, a Navy Veteran of WWII serving on the USS Burlington and served in the Coast Guard. Denver is survived by his wife Gertrude Cole.
Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 22, 2011 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Walton. Burial will be at Richwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
