John Franklyn McManama, 83, of Florence, KY passed away Tuesday April 26th, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence. He was a retired Teamster. He was a member of Hebron Lutheran Church. John enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, and was also a member of the Elks Club of Florence. He is preceded in death by his wife Frances Louise Jones McManama; sisters Laura Cantan and Della Francis; brothers Clifford McManama, Charles McManama, Paul McManama, and Chris McManama. Surviving children include Dan McManama of Taylor Mill, Linda McManama of Pittsburg, PA, Sandy Fuller of Burlington, and Michael McCarty of Congress, AZ; grandchildren Jennifer Lewis, Cassandra Slaughter, Christian McManama, Francesca Dawn, Mynk McCarty, Damon McCarty, and Shalome Pettie; and 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held Sunday May 15th, 2011 3:30PM at Hebron Lutheran Church, Hebron, KY followed by a fellowship meal at the church. Memorial donations may be sent to the Hebron Lutheran Foundation in memory of John F. McManama, 3140 Limaburg Rd. Hebron, KY 41048.
