Obituary of Teresa Sheehan

Teresa C. Sheehan, 57, of Union, KY, formerly of Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington, died Friday, April 29, 2011. Teresa was born August 26, 1953 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Thorvald "Ted" Peders, Sr. and Sarah Rebecca Robbins Peders. Mrs. Sheehan was a Registered Nurse in the Ambulatory Surgical Unit at New Hanover Regional Medical Center for many years prior to relocating to Kentucky, and had also been active in the Scottish Society of Wilmington. She is survived by her loving husband, Bob Sheehan of Union, KY; son, Jason Curry (Laura) of Garner, NC; daughter, Stacy McEleney (Shane) and their children, Kyle, Aidan, and Leah, all of Eglinton, Northern Ireland; daughter, Stephanie Robertson (Chuck) and their daughters, Jessica and Rebecca, all of Wilmington; stepson, Jeremy Sheehan of Chicago, IL; stepdaughter, Jennifer Sheehan of Wilmington; brother, Thorvald "Ted" Peders, Jr. (Marian) of Laurel, MD; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be 11am Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Andrews Market Street Chapel with Rev. Dan Sonnenberg officiating.
