Obituary of William Flynn

William H. Flynn, 76 of Elsmere, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011after a long illness. He was a retired mail carrier for the US Postal Service, an Air Force Veteran, a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, a member of the St. Stephens Catholic Order of Foresters, a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and loved traveling and the UK Wildcats. Survivors include his wife Martha Flynn; daughter Dr. Stephanie Flynn of Florence; son Michael W. Flynn of Elsmere; sisters Barbara Cowie of Ft. Thomas, Sr. Ruth Flynn of St. Annes Convent, Blanche Rawe of Ft. Mitchell and dogs Molly, Ally, Sophie, Annabelle and Daisy.
Visitation will be from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Florence. Mass of Christian Burial will follow Tuesday at 11:30 AM at St. Barbara Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Stephens Cemetery of Ft. Thomas.
