Obituary of Illene Lovelace

Illene M. Lovelace, 85, of Taylor Mill, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Villaspring Care Center of Erlanger. Mrs. Lovelace was a homemaker and attended Banklick Christian Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren, and she loved to dance and listen to George Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Lovelace; daughter, Brenda Mills; son Charles Lovelace; and brothers, Kenny, Larry, James and Richard Mains. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Bowling of Morning View, Barbara Lovelace of Latonia, and Deborah Burkhardt of Texas; sons, Leroy Lovelace of Walton and Marvin Lovelace of Taylor Mill; sisters, Marcella Lovelace of Ft. Thomas, and Louise Coldiron of Independence; brothers, Harold Mains of Taylor Mill, Robert Mains of Covington, Donnie Mains of Covington, and Roy Mains of Brooksville; and 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 from 10:00am to 12:00pm, with the funeral service following at 12:00pm, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Mrs. Lovelace will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Garden of Taylor Mill. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Tri State Southern Ohio Chapter, 2300 Wall Street, Ste.
