Obituary of Elizabeth Gifford

Elizabeth Gifford, age 83, of Cincinnati, OH died Sunday, June 26, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Ft. Thomas. She was a retired Unit Manager for Christ Hospital in Cincinnati and a member of Del High-Shiloh Methodist in Cincinnati, OH. Ms. Gifford enjoyed crochet, reading, and cooking. Her husband, William Gifford and son, Keith Estridge preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancye Lemox of Walton; sisters, Mae Hornsby of Peach Grove, KY, Jean Sowder of Erlanger, KY, Charlene Ward of Tyner, KY; granddaughter, Lauri Blevins of Independence; three great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH. Memorials can be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice at 483 S. Loop Dr., Edgewood, KY 41018 or Susan G.
