Obituary of Fidel Perez

Fidel Perez, age 77, of Florence, KY, died Saturday, July 23, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. He was co-owner with his son, Julio, of Camino Real Restaurant in Florence and was a member of St. Paul Church. Fidel lived for his family and his survivors include his wife Maria Lira Perez; Son Julio and daughters Veronica and Ana Perez of Florence, KY and daughters Eduarda Bolitho, Martha, Margarita and Gabriela Perez of the Chicago area; his siblings Felipe of Melrose Park and Jesus and Domitila Perez of Mexico; and his 7 grandchildren. Fidel was a passionate risk-taker who brought his family from Mexico in 1975 and thereafter proudly considered the U.S. his home. His belief that work was a blessing allowed him and his family to thrive in their endeavors. Services will be held at a later date in Chicago, IL.
