Obituary of Jennifer Fossett

Jennifer M. Fossett (Knochelman), 29, of Erlanger left us all too soon on August 27, 2011. She grew up in Morning View, KY and is a graduate of Simon Kenton High School and Brown Mackie College. She was a true angel and inspiration to all who crossed paths with her and had the most open and giving heart. She touched the lives of all she met, including the medical staff at University Hospital who has cared for her the past two years and to whom her family is extremely grateful. How many patients can get their nurses and doctors to hang out in their room to play cards and tell stories? Jennifer could - she had that effect on people. She loved children and worked with special needs students at Simon Kenton and Dixie Heights High Schools. She was blessed to have met and married her soul mate, whom she referred to as "the best husband in the whole world" Chris Fossett, and her legacy will be carried on in their beautiful 4-year old daughter, Avery. She was extremely creative and loved to cook and plan fun-filled theme parties for Avery. She loved the farm life of her childhood and exposing Avery to all the wonders life has to offer. In addition to Chris and Avery, she is survived by her parents, Steve and Christine Knochelman, sister Amanda Knochelman, grandparents Stephan & Lea Bachert, and Jeanne Winans along with aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends who will be forever impacted by her departure. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends when God took her and continues to receive love and prayers from all whose lives she touched. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 3 - 7 PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY, 859-356-2673. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 10 AM also at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jennifer Fossett Benefit Fund at any Fifth Third Bank.
