When Bobby and I were in high school and had already been best friends since 5th grade, he called my house one night and asked if I would want to go with him to the junk yard to get a part for his Monte Carlo. Back then there were no cordless phones or cell phones and most people had their house phones in the living room where everyone could listen in on your conversations. My mom just happen to hear my end of the conversation and thought I was being asked out on a date. When I told her what Bobby wanted, she said, "What kind of boy would call a girl and ask her to go to a junk yard with him?!" Bobby and I always laughed about that one. Bobby and I always laughed period. I have SO many wonderful memories with him and thank God for blessing me with his friendship. He was always there when I needed him and he always had time for me. I love him dearly and will miss him terribly!

I am so sorry to learn of the loss of Robert. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. It will be so wonderful when we won't ever have to worry about our 'enemy death' since it 'will be brought to nothing'. (1 Corinthians 15:26) I hope that the 'God of all comfort' will help you all during this sad time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)
