James "Eddie" Lykins, 68, of Cincinnati formerly of Covington, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011 at Hospice of Cincinnati (Mercy Western Hills). He served in the US Navy and is a member of the Latonia American Legion Post 203. Survivors include his wife Rose Marie "Rita" Lykins of Cincinnati; sons, Jamie Lykins of Cincinnati and Jeff Lykins of Covington; daughter Deborah Sue Moeller of Cincinnati; sisters, Shirley Brewer of Cincinnati and Phyllis Gravitt of Hendrix, TN; brother Ray Lykins of Homosassa, FL; and grandchildren Zachary Moeller, Ethan Lykins, Leah Lykins, Karli Moeller, Ryan Lykins and Amber Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Mary Mae Lykins and brother Gary Lykins. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home 8461 Dixie Hwy (US 25) Florence, KY 41042. Funeral service will be at 11 AM Thursday, September 29, 2011 also at the funeral home. Interment will be at Oakland Baptist Cemetery of Glencoe, KY.
