Obituary of Phillip Bernard Braasch
Phillip Bernard Braasch, age 64, of Crittenden, KY passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Phil was an Electrical Engineer and held his Electrical Contractors and Master Electrician Licenses in multiple states. He was a member of FOB and 7 Hills Church in Florence, KY, where he often volunteered. Phil and his wife, Trisha also served in Maranatha Ministries for over fourteen years in various cities around the country. He enjoyed watching sports, working on cars, eating popcorn, and driving on road trips. His parents, Bernard Benjamin and Doris Scott Braasch preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife (of 42 years), Trisha Jewel Kirk Braasch; children, Melissa Braasch, Amanda Braasch, Sarah Braasch, Joshua Phillip Braasch (Allison), Elizabeth Grace Curry (Brandon), and Rebekah Joy Braasch; brother, Roger Dean Braasch; grandchildren, Madeline, Maxwell Curry, Liam Joshua Braasch, and two others; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Oscar and Norma Kirk; brother-in-laws, Oscar Kirk and Martin Kirk (Tonia); and sister-in-law, Kristie Harper (Brad); and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, July 2, 2017, from 4 to 5 p.m. with funeral services to immediately follow at 7 Hills Church, 6800 Hazel Court, Florence, KY 41042. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence is assisting the family with local arrangements. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 3, 2017, at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Altamont, IL. Gieseking Funeral Home in Altamont, IL is handling arrangments there.
