Obituary of Brenda Joyce Robinson

     Brenda Joyce Robinson, of Walton, KY passed away after a courageous battle with ALS on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the age of 72.

     She was born in Richmond, IN on May 29, 1945; the daughter of Woodrow and Mary Ruby Treadway. She retired from Buse Industries as an assembly worker, was a member of Walton United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading, traveling and University of Kentucky basketball. Her greatest joy in life, however, was spending time with her beloved family.

     Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jerry and Ronnie Treadway.

     She is survived by her daughter, Denise Wetzel; sons, Kevin Poore, Trent Poore and Jerry Poore; sisters, Betty Ragusa, Beverly Treadway and Jill Werner; grandchildren, Jessica Poore, Ashley Poore, Haley Poore, Joshua Wetzel and Ryder Wetzel.

     A Gathering of Friends will take place from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 45 North Main Street, Walton, KY 41094.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials in Brenda’s name may be given to ALS Association National Headquarters, 1275 K Street NW, Suite 250, Washington, D.C. 20005 and/or the Walton Public Library, 21 S. Main Street, Walton, KY 41094.
