Obituary of Loretta Mae Adams

Loretta Mae Whisman Adams, age 82, of Florence, KY, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Loretta was born in Covington KY, to the late Green and Marjorie Whisman. She was a retired Bag Catcher at Duro Bag, she spent her days scrapbooking and playing with her great-grandchildren.

Loretta was a member of the Staffordburg Homemakers club and taught Sunday School at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member. Loretta is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Adams, her son, James Adams, grandson Jordan Adams, and her Brother-In-Law, Stanley Huff.

She is survived by her daughters Darlene Kay (Sam) McGhehey, and Bobbie Jo (David) Bain; sister, Geraldine Whisman Huff, six grandchildren, Jamie Cobb, Emily Ahrman, Erin and Brad Adams, Kevin, and Devin Bain; and three great-grandchildren, Hunter Cobb, Ava, and Landon Ahrman.

A visitation for Loretta will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017, from 10 to 12 noon at Chambers & Grubbs Independence. Funeral services will begin at 12 pm, with a burial following at Floral Hills Cemetery.
