Obituary of Edith Marie Benson

Edith Marie (Reynolds) Benson, age 88, of Ft. Wright, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at her residence.

Edith was a loving and selfless sister, mother and wife. Her vocation was caring for family and friends, bringing loved ones together in her home and preparing a special meal. She was a 1949 graduate of Florence High School. Edith enjoyed sewing, gardening and listening music.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Keith Benson, parents, William and Lucy Reynolds, daughter, Susan Annette Benson and her brothers, Wilbur, Emmett and Charles Reynolds.

Edith is survived by her daughter and son in law, Brenda Benson and Steve Schulz; sisters, Phyllis Johns, Roberta Profitt, Shirley Reynolds and Barbara Litell; and her brother, Don Reynolds.

Services will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton.

Visitation will be from 4PM-6PM with the Funeral Service immediately following at 6PM. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11AM.
