Obituary of Nolan Cole

Nolan Cole, age 83 of Union, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at his residence.  He was a retired Contractor.  He and his wife were also owners of Coles Child Development in Erlanger, KY.  After retiring, Nolan enjoyed traveling to Florida during the winter.  They were blessed with many years of a wonderful and happy marriage.  He was an avid U.K. basketball fan and a great fan of the New York Yankees.  He was also a member of the Erlanger United Methodist Church.  

He is survived by his wife (of 63 years), Wanda Jo Larkin Cole; son, Gary Nolan Cole (Connie Joyce); two grandchildren, Jamie Cole Schmeltzer (David) and Taylor Cole North (Brad); and two great grandchildren, Ava Schmeltzer and Luke Schmeltzer.  

Visitation will be Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 11 a.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence.  Interment will be at Richwood Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Erlanger United Methodist Church, 31 Commonwealth Ave., Erlanger, KY 41018 or St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S. Loop Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017.
