Obituary of David Alan Houston

David Alan Houston, age 55, of Morning View, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 14, 2017.

He was a member of Morning View United Methodist Church, where he served in any capacity as needed.

David is preceded in death by his father, Paul Alan Houston, brother, Darryl Lynn Houston and friend of the family, Harold Douglas Bowman. 

He is survived by his mother, Frieda Houston; sister, Valerie Sue Gallagher (Kevin); brothers, Danny Lee Houston (D’Anna), Greg Mason Houston and Harold Douglas Houston; and many other loving relatives and friends. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 5PM until the time of the Funeral Service, 6PM, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence.

To comply with David’s wishes, he will be cremated after the services. 

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers are suggested to Morning View United Methodist Church, 4006 Rich Rd., Morning View, KY 41063.
