Obituary of Douglas Whittamore

Douglas Whittamore, age 70 of Union, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church and was a United States Army Veteran.

Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and was a huge wrestling fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Faye Whittamore and brothers, Tony and Tim Whittamore. Doug is survived by his children, Doug (Cindy) Whittamore, Shane Whittamore, Nikki Whittamore, Danny Whittamore, Heather West and Chad (Dee) Fields; brothers, Danny, Ed and Steve Whittamore; his first wife, Connie Fields and second wife, Betty Denham; and 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Doug will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 9:30AM, until the time of the Funeral Service, 11:30AM, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence.

Interment with full Military Honors will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown.
