Obituary of Leonard Raymond Bell

     Leonard Raymond Bell, of Walton, KY passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the age of 89.

     He was born in Florence, KY on May 13, 1928; the son of Frederick and Etta May Bell. He was a retired mechanic who enjoyed Cincinnati Red’s baseball, gardening and was a member of the American Legion.

     Leonard was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Bell and son, Jerry Bell.

     He is survived by his cherished children, Linda Allen, Denny Bell, Brenda Perkins, Janet (Wayne) Ligon, Terry Bell, Judy (James) Spencer and Kristy (Jeremy) Zeigler; siblings, Virginia Meece, Bonnie Davis, Donnie Bell and Gordon Bell; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.

     A visitation for Leonard will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Erlanger, KY.

     Memorials in Leonard’s name may be given to the Florence American Legion Post #4.
