Obituary of William Earl Thurman Jr.

William “Bill” Thurman Jr., of Covington, KY passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the age of 67. He was born in Covington, KY on February 19, 1950; the son of William and Betty Jane Thurman.

He was a retired machinist who enjoyed old cars, bingo, playing cards and going to the boat.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Cathy (Bruce) Crawford; Grandchildren, Bradley (Haylee) Crawford of Goose creek, SC who proudly serves in the US Navy, Lauren (Danny) Concepcion of Columbia, SC, Bret (Amanda) Crawford; great-grandchild, Carter Concepcion of Columbia, SC; and his significant other, Rhonda Harris.

A visitation for Bill will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 PM on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will immediately follow at Gardnersville Cemetery in DeMossville, KY. 

Memorials in William’s name may be given to the Epilepsy Foundation, in honor of his son-in-law, 895 Central Ave # 550, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
