Obituary of James Mitchel "Frankie" Casson

James Mitchel “Frankie” Casson, age 80, of Morning View, KY, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.  He was a retired Bore Operator for Ford Motor Company and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.  His wife, of 59 years, Dorothy Louise Hale Casson, preceded him in death on December 11, 2017, as well as his parents Rudolph and Easter Casson; daughter-in-law, Becky Yelton Casson; sister, Virginia Grimes; and brothers, Everett, Clarence, Virgil, Aldin “Butch”, and Richard.  Frankie is survived by his children, Jimmy Casson, Tammie Casson and Todd (Cynthia) Casson; brother, Phil Casson (Jozetta); sisters, Violet Lipscomb, Velma Sala, and Mary Lou Grimes; grandchildren, Mitchel (Sarah), Taylor (Danielle), Chelsea (Tim Schulze), Morgan and Sarah; and great-grandchildren, Carter, Bradley, Caraline and Charlotte.  Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence.  His funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 4555 Lake Forest Dr # 396, Blue Ash, OH 45242 and the Point Arc of Northern Kentucky, 104 W Pike St, Covington, KY 41011.  Online condolences may be expressed to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
