Obituary of Barbara "Barbie" Ann Stamper
Barbara “Barbie” Ann Stamper, of Independence, KY passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family at her residence at the age of 42.
She was born in Covington, KY on January 13, 1976; the daughter of Clyde and Bessie Stamper. Barbie worked for Queen City Physicians as a medical biller and was a member of St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church. She was a very caring and giving person who enjoyed crafting, yard sales and decorating her home. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her beloved family, especially her two young boys.
Barbie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dylan Alexander Hyden and sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Leroy Lovelace.
She is survived by her two loving sons, Dalton Hyden and Pate Littrell; sisters, Karen (Steve) Eminhizer and Kathy (Todd) Murphy; long time companion, Steve Hyden; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Barbie will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Burial will immediately follow at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
Memorials in Barbie’s name may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
