Obituary of Elmer E. Pugh

Elmer E. Pugh, age 74, of Florence, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at his residence.  He was a retired Bomb Expert for Homeland Security and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Florence.  Elmer enjoyed singing at church, fishing, and spending time with his family.   He was preceded in death by his step-sister, Bertha Dyer; brother, Ray Pugh; and step-brothers, Lee Pugh, Wayne Pugh, and Charles Pugh.  Elmer was survived by his wife, Cheryl D. Hubbard Pugh; children, Amy Lynch, Tim Pugh, Andy Pugh, Jon Dodson, Clay Dodson, and Lori Jasper; sisters, Esther Kingsolver, Fern Carpenter, and Norma Barnes; sister-in-law, Audrey Sallee; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with services beginning at 12 noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence.  Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erlanger, KY.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 7388 Turfway Rd, Florence, KY 41042.  Online condolences may be expressed to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
