Obituary of Dorothy Roberts

Dorothy “Dody” Roberts passed with peace and grace on February 19, 2018, with her daughter at her side.  She is preceded in death by her loving mother Margie, brother, Fred and two daughters, Dody “Bird” and Lisa “Ditty”. Dody is survived by her daughters, Kim “Beatnik” Elliston of Independence and Nona “Pooh Bear” Roberts of Covington; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of a service, the family wishes to remember and honor Dody by asking you to correspond with someone incarcerated, have a meal with someone cognitively challenged, pray for someone struggling with addiction or volunteer your time with the less fortunate.  She leaves us with rich memories of love and laughter.
