Obituary of Iola Haggard

Iola Gladene Watts Haggard, age 88, of Walton, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Florence. She was a homemaker and member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, formerly of First Church of God, Latonia. She was a follower of Jesus and was an expert seamstress, who was very proud of her children. She is preceded in death by her husband Jay "Bill" Haggard and grandson Andrew Robben. Survived by daughters, Joyce Hugenberg, Marvela Marzan, Pamela Carpenter, all of Walton, Bethany Barlage of Suwanee, Ga. and Cherri Lawrence of Union, son Ronald Haggard of Walton, sisters Ruth Callery of Newport, Louise Witt of Winchester, KY, Christine Harper of Campbellsville, KY and Geneva Warnock of Lebanon, OH; brother Ira S. Watts Jr. of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 10 AM -12 PM. Funeral service will be at noon. Burial will be 11 AM Friday, November 25, 2011 at Floral Hills Cemetery.
