Obituary of Gaines Edwards Huey

Gaines Edwards Huey, D.D.S., age 91, of Walton, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at his residence.  He was a retired self-employed Dentist, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a member & Elder of the Walton Christian Church.  Dr. Huey was a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Kentucky Dental Association, the Northern Kentucky Dental Society, and in former years taught part-time at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.  His hobbies included hunting, fishing, farming, and gardening. 

His son, David Gaines Huey preceded him in death.  He is survived by his wife (of 65 years), Anna Pauline Stephenson Huey; children, Jean Renee’ Huey Feagan, Anne Marcele Huey Gibson, and Bradley Gaines Huey; five grandchildren, Jennifer Farwell, Lauren Lodholz, Landen Huey, Audrey Huey, and Maddie Gibson; and great-grandchildren, Abby Jewell, Everly Helmes, and Braxton Lodholz. 

Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. at Walton Christian Church with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m.  Interment will be at Richwood Cemetery.  Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton is assisting the family.
