Obituary of Harold "Big H" Hensley

Harold “Big H” Hensley, age 50, of Verona, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY.  He was a self-employed Mechanic, an operator of heavy equipment and a self-proclaimed “Jack of All Trades”.  Harold was passionate about dirt track racing and loved spending time with his family including his German Shepherd, Araka.  His father, Eugene Hensley preceded him in death.  He is survived by his wife, Christine Marie Schoborg Hensley; children, Collin Edward Hensley, Joshua Thomas Hensley, and Laura Matte; mother, Tina Senters Roland; siblings, Brian Hensley (Krystal) and Beverly Brown; and grandchildren, Katherine Matte and Alex Matte.  His visitation will be Monday, April 2, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with services beginning at 1 p.m. at Walton United Methodist Church, 68 South Main St., Walton, KY 41094.  Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Verona, KY.  Memorials may be made to the Hensley Family, c/o Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.  Online condolences may be expressed to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
