Obituary of Joe Miller Shaw

Joe Miller Shaw, 80, of Independence, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Amandaville Christian Church, Cumberland County.
Survivors include sisters, Dorothy Sanders of Hebron, Carrie Shaw of Independence, Ruth Wilson of Florence and Robbie Sipple of Williamstown; brothers, Chester Shaw, Junior Shaw and Bob Shaw, all of Independence, and Kenneth Shaw of Visalia.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Woodspoint Health Care Center, 7300 Woodspoint Drive, Florence, Ky. 41042.
