Obituary of Ryan Anthony Bowman

Ryan Anthony Bowman, 21 of Independence, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018.

He was born in Cincinnati, OH to Tony Bowman of Taylor Mill and Lori Mize Bowman of Independence. Ryan is a graduate of Simon Kenton High School (2014). Ryan loved spending time with his dog bear and being outdoors. Ryan was due to leave in May to serve his country in the U.S. Army. Ryan is preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda (GaGa) Hicks Brown; great grandmother, Tillie Schumacher; great grandpa, Claude Hicks; great-aunt, Bink Silbernagel; and father figure, Shaun Neltner. Ryan is survived by his parents Lori Mize Bowman and Tony Bowman; sisters, Sara (Tim) and Emily (Corey) Womble; grandmother, Annie Mize; nephews, Connor and Carson; nieces, McKenzie, and Kaylee; Uncle, Rich (Carla) Mize; cousins, Katie, RJ, and Danielle.

A memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at St. Patrick Church, in Taylor Mill, KY, from 9:30 to 11 am. A memorial mass will follow at 11 am. Memorial donations in Ryan’s name may be made payable to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org or Disabled American Veterans, www.dav.org.
