Obituary of Alice P. Cheesman

Alice P. Elliott Cheesman, age 82, of Morning View, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Rosedale Green Care Center in Covington, KY. She was a retired Clerk Supervisor for the Kenton County Circuit Court, a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and a member of the Ralph Fulton VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Alice enjoyed scrapbooking, working on crafts, cooking, participating in the “Prime-timers” group, and spending time with her family. Her husband, Morris Cheesman preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Rose (Bob); siblings, Shirlie Boyd Elliott (Linda) and Dorothy Sue Campbell; grandchildren, Robert Lee Rose, III, Christopher David Rose, and Melinda Ann Combs (Todd); great grandchildren, Riley Morgan Combs and Robert Jefferson “R.J.” Combs; and several nieces and nephews. Her visitation will be Friday, May 18, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with funeral services immediately following at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence.
